Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Food Options ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These Terms are in addition to Shopify's own Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Shopify platform.

2. Description of Service

Food Options is a Shopify app that enables merchants to add custom fields (text inputs, dropdowns, date pickers, file uploads, and more) to product pages, along with optional pricing add-ons and order capacity management.

3. Subscription and Billing

  • The App is offered on a subscription basis at $14.99 per month.
  • A 14-day free trial is included for new installations. No credit card is required during the trial.
  • Billing is handled through the Shopify Billing API. By approving the subscription, you authorise Shopify to charge your account on a recurring monthly basis.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the App's Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Collect sensitive personal data (passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs) through custom fields.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's code or infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

All code, design, and content comprising the App is the intellectual property of Innovage.io. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App solely for operating your Shopify store.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innovage.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

9. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the App's admin interface or by email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Innovage.io operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
